Join me scuba diving at Phil Foster Park in Riviera Beach, Florida, near West Palm Beach. The park is located underneath the Blue Heron Bridge. You'll see plenty of colorful fish, a shark and other sea life that live on the underwater snorkeling trail. An artificial reef which was created to form the underwater snorkeling trail made of limestone boulders and prefabricated reef modules that have attracted plenty of corals and reef fish to make it their new home. The maximum depth is only 6-10 feet so you can experience all of the underwater beauty with or without scuba gear. Just bring you mask, fins and a snorkel and you're good to go!
I also take you on a quick tour around the park and show you the amenities that it has to offer. You can sunbathe on the sandy beach or lounge in the shade underneath the bridge. Two lifeguard towers are present to keep everyone safe. This park is definitely a must-do if you're in the area. Parking can be very limited on the weekend so arrive early or plan on visiting on a weekday so you won't have to keep circling around the parking lot to get a parking spot.
If you decide to snorkel or scuba at the park, make sure that you enter the water about 1/2 hour before high tide on a tidal chart. That way you will have minimal current and clear water to swim in. The tide chart for the West Palm Beach area can be viewed here: https://www.usharbors.com/harbor/florida/port-of-west-palm-beach-fl/tides/
Here's a link to another video I made at this same location that shows more reef diving where I also venture under the bridge: https://youtu.be/TzOI5apoosY
